U.S. Treasury plans $6B buyback for 10-20 year Treasurys
The U.S. Treasury raised its planned buyback size for Treasurys maturing in 10 to 20 years to $6 billion. It said the increase would be triple the typical amount.
S. Treasury increased the size of its planned buyback operation for Treasurys maturing in 10 to 20 years to $6 billion, three times the usual amount, though not enough to push yields lower. The Treasury Department said last month that it would at least double buybacks of longer-term bonds.
