About 80% of the more than $2 billion in AI data-centre revenue STMicroelectronics is targeting for 2027 will come from chips that move data through fibre-optic links, its finance chief said on Wednesday, in the first detailed breakdown of a target the company lifted in July. The remaining 20% is expected to come from the bulkier power, analog and mixed-signal chips used in data centres, the company said.
