Fortum locks 22-year PPA with Google for half of Loviisa output
Fortum and Google signed a 22-year strategic partnership and PPA securing half of Loviisa Nuclear Power Plant capacity from 2030. Fortum’s RONA is set to increase by 1.4 percentage points, enabling major investments.
Fortum said a 22-year strategic partnership and power purchase agreement with Google will secure half of the Loviisa Nuclear Power Plant’s capacity from 2030. 4 percentage points and enable major investments. Fortum added that the agreement supports Finland’s digital growth, with Google investing up to EUR 13 billion.
