Independence Realty Trust and Centerspace agree $8.1B all-stock merger

Independence Realty Trust (IRT) and Centerspace (CSR) have agreed to merge in an all-stock deal creating a multifamily REIT with enterprise value about $8.1B and more than 44,000 apartment units.
