The yen strengthens versus the dollar in early trade as markets price two BOJ rate hikes by year-end, with September odds rising and a December hike nearly priced in, per market talk.
The yen strengthens against the dollar and other currencies in early trade on expectations the BOJ may raise rates twice by year-end. LPL Financial's A… said odds of a September hike have climbed over the past month from around 65% to 98%, while an additional move by December is now nearly priced in.
