Qualcomm and Amazon announce multi-generation AI data center collaboration
Qualcomm Technologies said it has announced a multi-generation collaboration with Amazon to enable customized silicon at scale for large-scale AI data centers, focused on AI inference.
Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ:QCOM) said on Sept. 8, 2026, that it has entered a multi-generation collaboration with Amazon to support customized silicon at scale for large-scale AI data centers, with the two companies working together on AI inference. The companies also said they are working on implementations of the Arm Neoverse-based Qualcomm Oryon CPU, with deployment planned in Amazon Web Services.
