Chinese carmaker ROX has started producing its ADAMAS SUV in Abu Dhabi, with the first vehicles rolling off a new line this week in the emirate’s Kezad industrial zone. The brand, which moved its global headquarters to the UAE last year, plans production capacity of 20,000 vehicles in 2027, rising to 300,000 by 2030 for local and export markets. ROX is already tailoring models to local tastes, with an Abu Dhabi Edition due in March that takes inspiration from Khoos, the Emirati craft of weaving palm fronds.
