OpenAI has signed an infrastructure deal that could lift demand for Nvidia's next-generation AI systems across Asia. Australia-based Firmus will supply OpenAI computing capacity from two data centers in Malaysia under a multiyear contract. As anchor customer, OpenAI gives the projects commercial support as they build out capacity.
