India August fuel consumption drops 6.3% to 18.61 million tons

India’s fuel consumption in August fell 6.3% from the previous month to 18.61 million metric tons, the lowest level since September 2024, data from the Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell of the oil ministry showed.
