Axis, ICICI and HDFC stocks slide on weak market sentiment

New Delhi, Sept. 8 -- Shares of private sector banks including Axis Bank, ICICI Bank and HDFC Bank fell sharply in Tuesday's trading session amid weak sentiment across Dalal Street. ICICI Bank and Axis Bank dropped more than 2% each on the NSE, while HDFC Bank's stock price declined.
