Asian session: S&P 500 futures slip, Nasdaq 100 rises
In Asia, S&P 500 E-mini futures are down and Nasdaq 100 E-mini futures are up; Dow futures are down and Russell 2000 futures are down. USD/JPY is down. WTI is up at 92.9.
Asian session market picture. US index futures were mixed, with S and P futures down 0.01 percent, Nasdaq futures up 0.56 percent, Dow futures down 0.6 percent and Russell futures down 0.15 percent. In currencies, the dollar index was unchanged at 0 percent, dollar yen fell 0.63 percent, USD/CNH rose 0.01 percent and AUD/USD slipped 0.03 percent. WTI crude was at 92.9, up 1.55 percent, while Brent crude was at 97.54, up 1.31 percent.
Among Asian volume leaders, Xiaomi was down 2.33 percent, SoftBank Group was up 6.82 percent, Mitsubishi UFJ was down 0.24 percent, Toyota was down 3.57 percent and Samsung Electronics was up 3.06 percent.
