Asian session mix: S&P 500 slips, Nasdaq 100 rises
Asian trading showed S&P 500 futures down 0.06 percent and Nasdaq 100 futures up 0.42 percent. Dow futures were down 0.59 percent and Russell 2000 futures down 0.14 percent. USD/JPY fell 0.66 percent and WTI rose 1.43 percent.
Asian session market picture: US index futures were mixed, with S and P futures down 0.06 percent, Nasdaq futures up 0.42 percent, Dow futures down 0.59 percent and Russell futures down 0.14 percent. In currencies, the dollar index was unchanged at 0 percent, dollar yen was down 0.66 percent, USD/CNH was up 0.02 percent and AUD/USD was down 0.11 percent. WTI crude was at 92.79, up 1.43 percent, while Brent crude was at 97.44, up 1.2 percent. Among Asian volume leaders, Xiaomi was down 2.76 percent, SoftBank Group was up 6.92 percent, Mitsubishi UFJ was down 0.19 percent, Alibaba was down 0.91 percent and Samsung Electronics was up 2.59 percent.
