Novo Nordisk reports STEP Young phase 3 semaglutide BMI results
Novo Nordisk announced first results from its STEP Young Phase 3 trial of once-weekly semaglutide plus reduced-calorie diet and increased physical activity in children aged 6 to under 12 with obesity, including BMI reduction at Week 68.
Novo Nordisk said the first results from its STEP Young phase 3 trial showed once-weekly semaglutide, given together with a reduced-calorie diet and increased physical activity, in children aged 6 to under 12 years old with obesity. The company said the trial was conducted in 3 children and reported BMI results.
