Telesat advances Lightspeed LEO with link and antenna validation tests
Telesat is testing optical space-to-ground and inter-satellite links using Cailabs turbulence-mitigation ground stations and validating Farcast’s electronically steered antenna on a LEO 3 test satellite.
Telesat Corp. (NASDAQ:TSAT) said it is advancing its Lightspeed LEO program by testing optical space-to-ground and inter-satellite links with Cailabs’ turbulence-mitigation ground stations. The company is also validating Farcast’s electronically steered antenna on a LEO 3 test satellite, and said it has achieved predicted link budgets.
