Asian cash markets close mixed: Nikkei higher, Hang Seng lower
Asian cash markets finished mixed: Nikkei closed higher, Hang Seng closed lower, Shanghai Composite edged higher, KOSPI closed higher, ASX 200 closed higher.
Asian cash markets finished mixed. The Nikkei 225 closed up 2.12 percent, the Hang Seng closed down 0.96 percent, the Shanghai Composite ended up 0.07 percent, the KOSPI rose 4.61 percent and the ASX 200 gained 0.06 percent. Among Asian volume leaders, Xiaomi was down 3.09 percent, SoftBank Group was up 11.22 percent, Alibaba fell 0.45 percent, Mitsubishi UFJ was down 1.96 percent and Meituan was down 2.02 percent.
