U.S. stocks slip after strong August jobs data lifts yields
U.S. stocks fell after surprisingly strong jobs data muddied the outlook for Federal Reserve policy. The Dow fell 271.86 points (0.51%) to 53,414.25; S&P 500 declined 29.11 points (0.38%) to 7,718.60; Nasdaq Composite shed 77.07 points.
