Portugal seeks improved bids from Air France-KLM and Lufthansa for TAP
Portugal’s government asked Air France-KLM and Lufthansa to submit improved offers for a minority stake in TAP, starting a final round after officials deemed their initial bids too close to choose.
Portugal’s government on Friday asked Air France-KLM EURONEXT:AF and Lufthansa XETR:LHA to submit improved offers for a minority stake in flag carrier TAP, opening a final round of negotiations after finding the two groups’ initial bids too similar to choose between them, Cabinet Minister Antonio Leitao Amaro said.
