SENSEX closes 0.65% higher after Friday gain
The SENSEX rose by 493 points, or 0.65%, on Friday to close at 76,646. Gains were led by Tata Steel, Reliance Industries and Bajaj Finance. Weakness was led by HCL Tech, Maruti Suzuki and Bharti Airtel.
The SENSEX Index went up by 493 points or 0.65 percent on Friday to close at 76646 points.
The rise was led by Tata Steel (2.73%), Reliance Industries (2.03%) and Bajaj Finance (1.33%).
On the downside, the weakerst performers were HCL Tech (-1.94%), Maruti Suzuki (-1.30%) and Bharti Airtel (-1.04%).
