Hungary retail sales gain 4.9% year-on-year in July, KSH says
Hungary’s calendar-adjusted retail sales rose 4.9% year-on-year in July, after a 3.0% gain in June, the Central Statistics Office (KSH) said. KSH also reported increases in food, non-food and fuel sales.
Hungary's calendar-adjusted retail sales (HURETY=ECI) rose by an annual 4.9% in July following an 3.0% rise in June, the Central Statistics Office (KSH) said on Friday.Food sales rose by 2.2% year-on-year, while non-food sales rose by 6.5%.
Fuel sales rose by 8.1% in annual terms, the KSH said.
