European session lifts S&P 500 and Nasdaq futures; EUR/USD higher

European session market picture.

US index futures: S and P futures is up 0.23 percent, Nasdaq futures is up 0.05 percent, Dow futures is up 0.46 percent and Russell futures is up 0.3 percent.

In currencies, the dollar index is down 0.58 percent, euro dollar is up 0.32 percent, GBP/USD is up 0.28 percent and EUR/GBP is up 0.08 percent.

In oil, WTI crude is at 92.43, up 1.56 percent and Brent crude is at 96.6, up 1.01 percent.

UK volume leaders: Lloyds Banking Group up 1.44 percent, Barclays up 1.64 percent, BP up 0.13 percent, HSBC up 0.65 percent and Shell down 0.38 percent. continental European volume leaders: Deutsche Telekom up 1.48 percent, UBS down 0.72 percent, Novartis up 0.34 percent, Nestle down 1.13 percent and Sanofi up 0.34 percent.
