Dell shares slip after fiscal Q2 2027 results surge
Dell Technologies shares saw mild downward pressure Thursday, down 1.67% to $484 in premarket trading, after a 15.76% rally Wednesday following its fiscal second-quarter 2027 release.
Dell Technologies Inc. (NYSE: DELL ) stock experienced mild downward pressure Thursday, driven by short-term consolidation and standard profit-taking.
The movement comes as investors lock in gains following a 15.76% rally Wednesday, which pushed the stock to $492.
Despite Thursday's minor pullback, the stock maintains a net gain for the week.
Nasdaq futures are down 0.06% while S&P 500 futures have gained 0.07%.

Dell reported adjusted earnings of $7.04 per share, beating the Wall Street analyst estimate of $4.91 per share by 43%.
Quarterly revenue rose 58% year over year to $46.97 billion.
The top-line result surpassed the Street consensus estimate of $44.95 billion.
Strong demand for servers and artificial intelligence infrastructure drove the quarterly performance, according to the company's financial report.
Technical Analysis Dell remains in a strong longer-term uptrend, with the stock trading 5.7% above its 20-day SMA ($458.66), 11.3% above its 50-day SMA ($435.51), 33.3% above its 100-day SMA ($363.79), and 94.3% above its 200-day SMA ($249.53).
That distance from the longer moving averages is a classic "extended but still trending" look—bulls generally want pullbacks to stay orderly and hold above key trend lines.
