Solvay to more than double Taiwan chip peroxide capacity by end-2026
Solvay said it will more than double its ultra-pure hydrogen peroxide capacity in Taiwan by the end of 2026 to meet rising semiconductor demand and targets tripling its electronic-grade business.
Belgian chemicals group Solvay EURONEXT:SOLB said on Thursday it will more than double capacity for ultra-pure hydrogen peroxide in Taiwan by the end of 2026 to meet rising demand from the island's semiconductor makers. The expansion comes as Taiwan's chipmakers continue to scale output, according to the company.
