DAX closes 0.50% lower after 131-point drop
The DAX Index fell 131 points, or 0.50 percent, to close at 25,839 on Wednesday. Decliners included Zalando (-5.21%), Volkswagen (-3.83%) and Porsche Automobil (-3.39%).

Losses were led by Zalando (-5.21%), Volkswagen (-3.83%) and Porsche Automobil (-3.39%).
Offsetting the fall, top gainers were Qiagen NV (2.31%), Commerzbank (1.70%) and Rheinmetall (1.20%).
