European cash markets closed lower. Euro Stoxx 50 -0.11%, DAX -0.5%, CAC 40 -0.26% and FTSE 100 -0.3%.
European cash markets finished lower: the Euro Stoxx 50 closed down 0.11 percent, the DAX closed down 0.5 percent, the CAC 40 closed down 0.26 percent and the FTSE 100 closed down 0.3 percent.
UK volume leaders were Lloyds Banking Group down 0.09 percent, Barclays down 0.55 percent, BP up 0.22 percent, HSBC up 0.77 percent and Shell up 0.31 percent. continental European volume leaders were UBS up 1.13 percent, Deutsche Telekom up 0.25 percent, Novartis up 0.27 percent, Nestle up 0.15 percent and SAP down 1.53 percent.
