UK competition regulator launches merger inquiry into E.ON-OVO deal
The UK Competition and Markets Authority is investigating the E.ON-OVO deal to assess whether it would substantially lessen competition. Combined group would supply nearly 10m UK customers; E.ON has 5.6m and OVO 4m.
