BP appoints Ian Tyler as chair; Halma deal targets Pyxis
BP appointed Ian Tyler as chairman, effective immediately. Separately, Halma agreed to acquire Pyxis, according to the stocks-to-watch note.
BP announced on Wednesday that Ian Tyler has been appointed chairman, taking up the role immediately after an extensive search that included both internal and external candidates. Tyler joined the board as a non-executive director in April 2025 and became interim chair before the permanent appointment.
