New Delhi, Sept. 2 -- The Centre plans to require pharmaceutical companies to clearly distinguish biological medicines, or biologics, from synthetic drugs when applying for licences and on packaging, according to two government officials close to the development. The proposed change would be made through amendments to the Drugs Rules, 1945.
