Asian markets steady: S&P 500, Nasdaq futures up; Russell slips
US index futures were mixed in Asia: S and P up 0.04 percent, Nasdaq up 0.05 percent, Dow flat, and Russell down 0.09 percent. USD/JPY rose 0.09 percent and WTI gained 1.59 percent to 91.65.

US index futures: S and P futures is up 0.04 percent, Nasdaq futures is up 0.05 percent, Dow futures is unchanged at 0 percent and Russell futures is down 0.09 percent.
In currencies, the dollar index is up 0.02 percent, dollar yen is up 0.09 percent, USD/CNH is up 0.02 percent and AUD/USD is down 0.06 percent.
In oil, WTI crude is at 91.65, up 1.59 percent and Brent crude is at 96.17, up 1.61 percent.
Asian volume leaders: Alibaba down 3.33 percent, Xiaomi down 0.22 percent, Meituan down 2.85 percent, AIA Group down 0.39 percent and Tencent down 2.56 percent.
