Brazil GDP rises 0.5% in Q2, beating Reuters forecast

Brazil’s GDP grew 0.5% in the second quarter versus the prior three months, according to official data. Economists in a Reuters poll had expected 0.4%. On an annual basis, GDP expanded 2.0%.
