Apex’s private-market stock has surged more than 75% as investors pour capita l into the satellite manufacturer, betting on growing demand for space infrastructure across commercial and national-security markets.

Forge Global’s latest data puts Apex’s private-market price at $20.06 per share, up about 75% from its previous implied price of $11.45.

The move gives the company an implied valuation of roughly $2.29 billion, according to Forge.

That represents more than a doubling from the company’s $1 billion valuation in September 2025.

Apex’s valuation has now more than tripled from roughly $727 million in April 2025.

The financing was led by Glade Brook Capital Partners, with Washington Harbour Partners co-leading the round.

Apex said the capital would be used to expand its satellite manufacturing capabilities, vertically integrate key components and increase production capacity.

The company’s rapid valuation growth reflects a broader shift in how investors view the space industry.

Rather than focusing solely on rocket companies, investors are increasingly backing businesses that provide the infrastructure needed to build and operate large satellite constellations.

Defense Demand Adds to the Appeal Apex designs and manufactures satellite buses, the platforms that provide spacecraft with power, communications and other essential systems.

The company is targeting both commercial customers and government missions, putting it at the intersection of the expanding space economy and the U.S. national-security market.

That defense exposure could become increasingly important as the U.S. government expands spending on space-based capabilities, including satellite networks designed for communications, surveillance and missile tracking.

Apex has also announced a collaboration with Northrop Grumman Corp (NYSE: NOC ) tied to the development of the U.S. government’s Golden Dome missile-defense initiative, further positioning the company within the growing defense-space ecosystem.

For investors, the opportunity extends beyond selling individual satellites.

The rise of proliferated satellite constellations requires manufacturers capable of producing spacecraft at significantly higher volumes.

Apex Is Part of a Bigger Private-Space Boom Apex’s valuation surge also comes amid a broader boom in private space companies.

Other startups have attracted increasingly large private-market valuations as investors seek exposure to the expanding space economy.

Stoke Space, for example, has reached a reported $9 billion valuation, while Impulse Space has been valued at approximately $4.26 billion, That makes Apex’s $2.29 billion valuation look relatively modest compared with some of its private-market peers.

The broader trend suggests investors are increasingly viewing space infrastructure as a critical part of the next generation of communications, defense and data infrastructure.

For Apex, the challenge now will be converting that investor enthusiasm into sustained production and revenue growth.

Its latest valuation increase shows that investors are willing to pay substantially more for a stake in the company.

Whether Apex can justify that valuation will ultimately depend on how quickly it can scale satellite production and capitalize on the growing demand from commercial and government customers.
