DE is rolling out "JD," an AI assistant inside its Operations Center app that uses field-specific data collected during planting, treatment and harvesting to help farmers make decisions on things like fertilizer use and crop performance.
The assistant can analyze data while equipment is still operating in the field, instead of waiting until the end of the season.
JD will be free for app users and is expected to become more broadly available later this year.
Deere says farmer data remains controlled by growers and is not sold.
