LSEG plans tokenised UK shares with Payward partnership
London Stock Exchange Group plans to launch tokenised UK shares to expand global access to London-listed shares and will partner with Payward to explore new ways to trade on equity markets.
London Stock Exchange Group said on Tuesday it plans to launch tokenised UK shares as part of an effort to widen global access to London-listed stocks. The exchange group also said it will work with Payward, the parent of crypto exchange Kraken, to explore new ways to trade on equity markets.
