"Shares have fallen after four of its last five reports," Woods said.
While this past history is concerning, Woods says he is more concerned by the technicals on the stock chart. "The stock is still in a strong and longer term uptrend.
It held its rising 50-day moving average and gapped higher after CrowdStrike reported solid results." The market expert says that while the stock went higher, it failed to make new highs and key indicators like the RSI and MACD are showing bearish indicators. "These are things you see at tops when stocks lose momentum." Woods highlights the $390 recent highs and lows of $330 as keys to watch. "Use that support to buy the dip if the stock falls on good results.
Watch the highs to see if they can break on a rally.
If they don’t close at new highs, then a fade may be in order as it will take weeks for the stock to possibly break that level again."
