In currencies, the dollar index is up 0.01 percent, dollar yen is up 0.07 percent, USD/CNH is up 0.04 percent and AUD/USD is up 0.08 percent.
In oil, WTI crude is at 83.08, down 0.54 percent and Brent crude is at 88.19, down 0.37 percent.
Asian volume leaders: Xiaomi up 2.62 percent, Alibaba down 0.78 percent, AIA Group up 1.67 percent, Tencent up 2.19 percent and Mitsubishi UFJ up 1.5 percent.
