Euro FX futures traded near unchanged on Thursday, hovering around the 1.1650 level after drifting lower from last week's highs above 1.17.

The market continues to take its cues from U.S.

Dollar strength, even as expectations remain for a 25 bps rate hike from the European Central Bank next month.

Volatility steadily edged higher throughout the week, reflected in the CVOL index, as traders position themselves for the Jackson Hole economic symposium.

Friday's session will bring additional data points, including the Chicago Purchasing Managers index and University of Michigan sentiment, though market attention remains squarely on the scheduled 9:00 a.m. address from Fed Chair Kevin Warsh.
