The bullish sentiment rippled through the semiconductor sector, lifting companies like Broadcom and Intel.
Meanwhile, E-mini S&P 500 futures gained 0.5% amid sticky inflation data, as the PCE index ticked up 0.2% month-over-month.
Market participants remain focused on Friday's Jackson Hole address from Kevin Warsh for monetary policy cues.
In the options market, E-mini S&P 500 put options accounted for roughly 60% of overall volume, with heavy activity in expiring 7725 puts and 7750 calls.
Conversely, Nasdaq-100 call options showed bullish positioning above 50%, highlighted by 2,000 opening trades in the 29,600 calls.
Bitcoin futures also showed strength, crossing $80,000 as August contracts roll into September, driving Micro Bitcoin futures volume over 100,000 contracts.
