Europe finishes mixed as Euro Stoxx 50, DAX, CAC 40 rise
European cash stocks ended mixed: Euro Stoxx 50 +0.23%, DAX +0.08% and CAC 40 +0.27% higher, while FTSE 100 ended -0.07% lower.
European cash markets finished mixed: the Euro Stoxx 50 closed up 0.23 percent, the DAX closed up 0.08 percent, the CAC 40 closed up 0.27 percent and the FTSE 100 closed down 0.07 percent.
UK volume leaders were BP down 1.12 percent, Lloyds Banking Group up 0.22 percent, Barclays up 0.66 percent, HSBC up 0.34 percent and Shell down 0.46 percent. continental European volume leaders were UBS up 1.57 percent, SAP down 2.93 percent, Deutsche Telekom down 0.58 percent, Nestle up 0.06 percent and Novartis down 0.9 percent.
