Cramer urges caution on First Solar, sells half of ServiceNow

On CNBC’s Mad Money Lightning Round, Jim Cramer said to stay away from First Solar and recommended selling half of ServiceNow, while calling Grab a holding company and saying he does not want to own Super Micro Computer.

On CNBC’s “ Mad Money Lightning Round,” Jim Cramer recommended staying away from First Solar, Inc. (NASDAQ: FSLR ).

Evercore ISI Group analyst Nicholas Amicucci maintained First Solar with an In-Line rating on Aug.

17 and cut the price target from $219 to $218.

Grab Holdings Limited (NASDAQ: GRAB ) is a holding company, Cramer said. “You can’t even find anything about this thing.” On Aug.

4, Grab Holdings reported better-than-expected second-quarter financial results and raised its FY26 sales guidance, with the midpoint above estimates.

Also, the company approved a $750 million buyback.

When asked about SpaceX (NASDAQ: SPCX ), Cramer said, “Put it away and give it to your kids.” JPMorgan reiterated an Overweight rating and a $240 price target on the stock on Tuesday, citing progress on SpaceX’s AI ambitions following its recent acquisition of Cursor.

Cramer recommended selling half of ServiceNow, Inc. (NYSE: NOW ) and then “let the rest run.” According to recent news, ServiceNow announced last week an expanded multi-year partnership with Tech Mahindra aimed at helping enterprises move AI projects from pilot programs into full-scale production.

When asked about Sunbelt Rentals Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: SUNB ), Cramer said this business if too hard unless it’s United Rentals, Inc. (NYSE: URI ).

On the earnings front, Sunbelt Rentals will hold its first-quarter fiscal year 2027 results call on Wednesday, Sept.

Cramer said he doesn’t want to own Super Micro Computer, Inc. (NASDAQ: SMCI ).

Cisco Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: CSCO ) announced Tuesday an expansion of its Secure AI Factory offering with Nvidia Corp. (NASDAQ: NVDA ) through a new partnership with Super Micro Computer.

Reddit, Inc. (NYSE: RDDT ) is “such a buy,” Cramer said.

Supporting his view, Reddit posted better-than-expected earnings and sales results for the second quarter on July 30.

Price Action Grab Holdings shares rose 1.7% to settle at $3.58 on Tuesday.

SpaceX shares gained 2.2% to close at $137.95 during the session.

ServiceNow fell 0.8% to settle at $127.00 on Tuesday.

First Solar shares slipped 0.7% to close at $206.82.

Sunbelt Rentals shares fell 0.9% to settle at $75.69 on Tuesday.

Super Micro Computer shares gained 9.4% to close at $38.46.

Reddit shares climbed 6.4% to settle at $162.45 on Tuesday.
