Super Micro Computer Inc. (NASDAQ: SMCI ) stock edged higher in Tuesday’s premarket trading as risk appetite remained firm.

Nasdaq futures gained 0.83%, while S&P 500 futures rose 0.41%.

The modest move reflected broader market strength rather than a new company-specific catalyst.

Traders are watching whether Super Micro can extend its rebound from a July low.

The stock has entered an important technical zone.

Short-term signals are improving, but the longer-term recovery remains incomplete.

Cisco Taps Supermicro to Scale NVIDIA-Powered AI Factories Separately, Cisco Systems Inc. (NASDAQ: CSCO ) said Tuesday it expanded its Secure AI Factory with NVIDIA Corporation (NASDAQ: NVDA ) through a partnership with Super Micro.

Cisco will add Supermicro’s liquid- and air-cooled servers to its AI infrastructure portfolio.

The platform will combine high-density computing, networking, security and cooling technology.

The expanded offering will support large AI training and inference workloads.

It will also meet NVIDIA Cloud Partner requirements for neocloud and sovereign cloud customers.

Cisco will begin offering the Supermicro systems in October 2026.

Its positive histogram also suggests that buying momentum is improving.

Resistance stands near $42.50, where sellers could slow another advance.

Support sits around $29, where buyers previously stepped in.
