Oil slides as S&P 500 futures and Nasdaq gain
European trading shows US index futures higher—S&P 500 futures up 0.39% and Nasdaq futures up 0.8%—while WTI crude falls 3.54% and the dollar index dips 0.07%.

US index futures: S and P futures is up 0.39 percent, Nasdaq futures is up 0.8 percent, Dow futures is up 0.41 percent and Russell futures is up 0.45 percent.
In currencies, the dollar index is down 0.07 percent, euro dollar is up 0.06 percent, GBP/USD is up 0.08 percent and EUR/GBP is down 0.02 percent.
In oil, WTI crude is at 82, down 3.54 percent and Brent crude is at 87.78, down 3.05 percent.
UK volume leaders: Lloyds Banking Group down 0.27 percent, BP down 0.77 percent, Barclays down 0.18 percent, HSBC down 1.12 percent and Shell down 0.53 percent. continental European volume leaders: Novartis up 0.11 percent, UBS down 0.39 percent, Nestle down 0.97 percent, SAP down 1.7 percent and Deutsche Telekom down 0.1 percent.
