European trade lifts US equity futures; WTI drops 3.35%

US index futures: S and P futures is up 0.43 percent, Nasdaq futures is up 0.89 percent, Dow futures is up 0.51 percent and Russell futures is up 0.64 percent.

In currencies, the dollar index is up 0.03 percent, euro dollar is down 0.01 percent, GBP/USD is up 0.01 percent and EUR/GBP is down 0.01 percent.

In oil, WTI crude is at 82.16, down 3.35 percent and Brent crude is at 87.74, down 3.09 percent.

UK volume leaders: BP down 0.19 percent, Lloyds Banking Group up 0.2 percent, HSBC down 0.25 percent, Barclays up 0.12 percent and Shell down 0.32 percent. continental European volume leaders: Novartis up 0.32 percent, UBS up 0.3 percent, Nestle down 0.73 percent, Deutsche Telekom up 0.1 percent and SAP down 0.24 percent.
