European session lifts US index futures; WTI slips sharply
European session trading shows US equity futures higher—S&P 500 +0.5% and Nasdaq 100 +0.92%—while WTI falls to 82.23 (-3.27%) and EUR/USD rises 0.05%.

US index futures: S and P futures is up 0.5 percent, Nasdaq futures is up 0.92 percent, Dow futures is up 0.45 percent and Russell futures is up 0.7 percent.
In currencies, the dollar index is down 0.02 percent, euro dollar is up 0.05 percent, GBP/USD is up 0.08 percent and EUR/GBP is down 0.02 percent.
In oil, WTI crude is at 82.23, down 3.27 percent and Brent crude is at 87.82, down 3 percent.
UK volume leaders: BP down 0.56 percent, Lloyds Banking Group up 0.22 percent, Barclays up 0.13 percent, HSBC down 0.04 percent and Shell down 0.57 percent. continental European volume leaders: UBS up 0.3 percent, Novartis up 0.14 percent, Deutsche Telekom down 0.21 percent, SAP down 0.74 percent and Nestle down 0.81 percent.
