In oil, WTI crude is at 85.38, up 0.44 percent.
Asian volume leaders: Alibaba up 0.53 percent, Xiaomi up 0.43 percent, Meituan down 6.05 percent, Mitsubishi UFJ up 0.89 percent and SoftBank Group up 1.53 percent.
