NVDA is in early talks with South Korean AI chip startup Rebellions over a potential technical partnership, investment, or even an acquisition.
Jensen Huang met Rebellions CEO Sunghyun Park at Nvidia's headquarters this week to discuss a possible tie-up.
Note: Rebellions is valued at about $2.3B and has raised roughly $850M from investors including SK Hynix, Samsung Ventures and Arm.
The company develops data-center NPUs designed for AI inference.
The talks are still preliminary, and any acquisition could face regulatory scrutiny in both the U.S. and South Korea.
