Trump urges magnets, spotlighting MP Materials and USA Rare Earth

The Department of Defense has secured a 15% equity stake in MP Materials through a $400 million investment, while guaranteeing a 10-year offtake agreement and a price floor to protect the company’s Texas magnet facility. 6 billion package to develop an Oklahoma magnet facility and a Texas mine.
