The DAX 40 rose about 0.3% to trade slightly above the 26,000 mark on Friday, after four straight sessions of losses, led by tech stocks.
Chipmaker Infineon Technologies and AI-related Hochtief were among the top performers, rising 2.1% and 1.8%, respectively.
Meanwhile, some caution prevailed amid elevated oil prices and bond yields and geopolitical uncertainty.
On the data front, Germany’s private sector saw only modest growth in August, with a strong manufacturing rebound countering another decline in services.
