Asian stock markets close mixed; KOSPI leads gains
Asian cash markets finished mixed, with the Nikkei 225 up 1.36%, the Hang Seng up 1.03%, the Shanghai Composite down 2.17%, the KOSPI up 5.89% and the ASX 200 up 0.15%.
Asian cash markets finished mixed: the Nikkei 225 closed up 1.36 percent, the Hang Seng closed up 1.03 percent, the Shanghai Composite closed down 2.17 percent, the KOSPI closed up 5.89 percent and the ASX 200 closed up 0.15 percent.
Asian volume leaders were Alibaba up 2.25 percent, Xiaomi up 1.53 percent, Meituan down 1.26 percent, SoftBank Group up 3.06 percent and Toyota up 4.25 percent.
