Asian markets close mixed; KOSPI, Nikkei lead declines
Asian cash markets finished mixed, with the Nikkei 225 down 3.16%, the Hang Seng up 0.11%, the Shanghai Composite down 2.22%, the KOSPI down 5.8% and the ASX 200 down 0.21%.
Asian cash markets finished mixed: the Nikkei 225 closed down 3.16 percent, the Hang Seng closed up 0.11 percent, the Shanghai Composite closed down 2.22 percent, the KOSPI closed down 5.8 percent and the ASX 200 closed down 0.21 percent.
Asian volume leaders were Xiaomi up 5.12 percent, Alibaba down 1.74 percent, SoftBank Group down 10.34 percent, Mitsubishi UFJ down 4.35 percent and Meituan up 1.75 percent.
