European session: S&P 500 futures edge higher, oil gains
European trading shows S&P 500 futures up 0.04%, Nasdaq futures unchanged, and WTI crude up 0.44%, while EUR/USD rises 0.21% and DXY falls 0.18%.
US index futures are showing S&P futures up 0.04 percent, Nasdaq futures unchanged, Dow futures up 0.07 percent, and Russell futures up 0.02 percent.
In currencies, the dollar index is down 0.18 percent.
EUR/USD is up 0.21 percent, GBP/USD is up 0.17 percent, and EUR/GBP is up 0.02 percent.
WTI crude is at 84.43, up 0.44 percent, and Brent crude is at 91.35, up 0.36 percent.
UK volume leaders include Lloyds Banking Group down 0.98 percent, HSBC down 0.09 percent, Barclays down 0.95 percent, BP up 0.9 percent, and Shell up 0.49 percent.
Continental European volume leaders are Deutsche Telekom up 0.87 percent, Nestle up 0.27 percent, UBS up 0.05 percent, Siemens up 0.56 percent, and SAP down 0.71 percent.
