Sensex closes 0.52% lower after 402-point decline
The SENSEX fell 402 points, or 0.52%, to close at 77,326, led lower by Asian Paints (-2.51%), Infosys (-2.29%) and HCL Tech (-2.26%).

The decline was led by Asian Paints (-2.51%), Infosys (-2.29%) and HCL Tech (-2.26%).
On the upside, the strongest performers were Axis Bank (1.44%), Mahindra & Mahindra (0.65%) and Power Grid (0.58%).
